Q: What are the benefits to a dealer of Pure 1 products instead of bottled water?
A: Without any major capital investment, and using your existing infrastructure, staffing and space, Pure 1 allows you to provide your customers equal or better quality water, at a lower price and without the inconvenience of bottled water. Your investment is lower, your profits are higher, and there is no disruption to your current way of doing business.
BACK TO QUESTIONS
Q: What are the benefits to a dealer of Pure 1 products instead of so-called "bottle-less" or "flat-top" coolers?
A: Pure 1 products can be used with many standard bottled water coolers. That means that you can retro-fit coolers already owned, or shop for the most cost effective cooler. No matter what cooler brand you select, Pure 1 systems are less expensive than flat-top equivalents. And Pure 1 always retains the attractive, familiar appearance of bottled water -no more "black boxes" to confuse and even worry consumers about just what they are getting.
There are also far fewer maintenance headaches for you. First, unlike many flat-top units, all of our devices are mechanical, not electronic. That means that if you should experience any unexpected problems, they can be fixed by you, simply and inexpensively.
Our patented StayClear process also means less frequent maintenance sanitization. And, Pure 1 products, unlike flat-tops, are almost completely modular, so that changing a system design does not mean starting from scratch. Only Pure 1 offers the options of ozonation, and iodination* for users concerned about biological contamination.

BACK TO QUESTIONS
Q: What are the benefits to my customers of renting Pure 1 products instead of bottled water or "bottle-less" coolers?
A: Even our high end products are less expensive than what average bottled water users spend in just one year. Rental programs at our suggested prices save 3 bottle per week users (at $6 per bottle) 60% and 52% off their annual water bill on Pure 1 filter and RO systems, respectively. Those using just 2 bottles per week would save 31% and 22%, respectively. In addition to these savings, there are no deliveries to accept, no heavy bottles to lift, store, and keep track of, and no human contamination to foul the water.
Versus flat-top coolers, besides being able to see the water, end-users benefit when you pass on your cost savings to them. And our StayClear process does more to ensure the quality of the water that they drink.
BACK TO QUESTIONS
Q: Why are Pure 1 products more hygienic than bottled water or "bottle-less" coolers?
A: Bottled water is generally very good quality-in the bottle. But once the seal is broken, the bottle is subject to many different risks of contamination. Bacteria and other pathogens are introduced onto the outside of the bottle from the hands of the many people handling it, and then migrates into your water supply. Air drawn into the bottle when it bubbles contains all of the germs of the people who have been and breathed, sneezed or coughed around the cooler. Pure 1 systems are sealed and filtered, and are not open to human or air contamination.
Bottle-less coolers also eliminate the risk of human contact, and generally employ some sort of air filter (though usually far inferior to Pure 1's 0.22 micron filter). But, unlike Pure 1, these coolers treat the water first and then store it. The stored water is subject to post-treatment contamination and algae growth. By contrast, Pure 1 stores its water with the residual disinfectant (usually the chlorine from your municipal source water) in place to preserve the water. The disinfectant is removed during dispensing through our unique filters located at the exit of the bottle. Therefore, the stored water is protected, but the drinking water is free of the residual disinfectant.
This is what we call our StayClear process.
BACK TO QUESTIONS
Q: How much money can I expect to make by renting Pure 1 products?
A: That will depend of course on your volumes, the prices that you charge. To calculate your specific returns, just call Pure 1 and ask us to provide an analysis. On average, dealers show a 10 month return on investment
BACK TO QUESTIONS
Q: How much money can my customers expect to save using Pure 1 products instead of bottled water?
A: This, once again, depends on your volumes and the prices that you charge, as well as your customers' current water use patterns. However, 20% to 60% is common.
BACK TO QUESTIONS
Q: How do I know which Pure 1 product to use, and how do I handle different water conditions from customer to customer?
A: At Pure 1, we offer dozens of treatment options, and customize nearly 50% of our products sold. But the truth is, that for most users in developed areas, simple filtration is going to be the right answer for you. Most municipal water supplies in developed areas are biologically safe, and suffer only from cosmetic problems, primarily the foul taste and odor of chlorine. For these users, our most basic systems are more than adequate to provide fresh, clean, delicious tasting water.
On the other hand, there are as many different treatment challenges in the world as there are water sources Because Pure 1 is a water treatment company, not an appliance manufacturer like most of our competitors, we consider the biggest part of our job working with you to get the right treatment products for your needs. One of our senior officers is always available to be sure that what you need is what you buy. And, because most of our systems are modular, you can easily and inexpensively upgrade or modify any system to create the solution for your specific needs.
BACK TO QUESTIONS
Q: What kind of water cooler do I need to use with a Pure 1 product?
A: Unlike bottle-less coolers, which require you to buy an expensive new cooler, Pure 1 products can be used with almost every standard bottled water cooler on the market.
BACK TO QUESTIONS
Q: Many of my export customers don't have running water in their offices. What can I do for them?
A: Our self-filling systems are so simple to connect, that many offices without a ready water source can still be connected. And, even if there is no way of doing so, our EasyFull pour- through systems offer the same fine quality filtration and disinfection options in a manual fill design.
BACK TO QUESTIONS
Q: How hard is it to connect one of your self-filling systems?
A: Most of our systems connect in under a half hour, usually using only a screwdriver.
In our filtration and disinfection systems, you need only a 1/4" OD (.25 inch outside diameter) source water connection, such as you would use to connect an ice maker for your freezer. No drain line is needed.
To connect the water line, most customers use a self- piercing saddle valve or a compression fitting, each available in local hardware stores or plumbing supply houses for under $10 *.
Our RO systems, like all RO systems, do require a drain line. We use 1/4" OD drain tubing, which connects easily using a drain saddle, air gap drain or compression fitting. And, since all of Pure 1's RO systems can be installed remotely at the water and drain location, our RO installations are much easier than bottle-less cooler ROs.

BACK TO QUESTIONS
Q: What water treatment options does Pure 1 offer?
A: Without meaning to boast, if it can be done at all, Pure 1 has done it. Because of our modular designs, we can offer every combination imaginable of carbon and sediment filtration options (including 1-micron absolute filters for cryptosporidium and giardia reduction), reverse osmosis, ozonation, iodination, and Ultraviolet (UV) irradiation, and can customize systems to include distillation, ion exchange, softening and deionization.
