Improve Your Water Now! Call 866.88.Pure1

You might think that increasing your consumption of plain water by just 1 percent wouldn't be enough to make much of a difference in your health. Well, think again. A recent study proves that a little water can go a long way to improving your diet, and refrigerator water and ice filters make it easy to drink more.

The majority of adults who increased their consumption of plain water by 1 percent reduced their total daily calorie intake as well as their consumption of saturated fat, sugar, sodium and cholesterol. That's the results from a study at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Just one to three more cups of water a day was associated with eating up to 205 less calories, and consuming up to 18 less grams of sugar, up to 235 less milligrams of sodium, and up to 21 less milligrams of cholesterol.

With so many people trying to eat healthier, it's always nice to discover an easy and affordable method that can have such a big impact. You can easily drink a little more water by keeping a bottle on your night stand, or making it a habit to have a glass before or after each meal.

By contrast, it would take a 155 pound man or woman about 30 minutes of low-impact aerobics to burn up the 200 or so calories that you're likely to avoid. Plus, that doesn't even count the benefits of cutting back on excess sugar and other stuff most of us want to minimize.
